Kingston Barnes are recruiting a Class 1 / Class 2 Driver to work for our client based near Cirencester GL7. The role is working Monday to Friday 6am starts. You will be driving a Class 1 lorry or act as a spare driver or shunter around 2 days per week and other days the client will ask you to drive a Class 2 lorry and deliver bulky items to businesses and complete up to 6 drops. There will be no handballing involved – all the items will be loaded and unloaded by forklift drivers.
You will be paid for a minimum of 10 hours per shift but in reality complete around 8 hours.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid UK Cat C+E / Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
- Licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- Valid CPC and Tacho cards
- Great customer service skills
- Reliability and trustworthiness
