Kingston Barnes are recruiting a Class 2 driver to work for our client based in Yate (BS37) area. The role will involve delivering bulky items to businesses and completing up to 10 deliveries per shift.
The position is working Monday to Friday and the start times will be 6am. You will be completing around 45 hours per week and the pay rate will be £17.93 per hour.
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will involve:
- Driving a 26T vehicle transporting client’s goods
- Assisting to offload products
- Using PODs and completing necessary paperwork
- Customer service
Candidate requirements:
- At least 6 months experience in a Class 2 role
- Valid Cat C UK driving licence, up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- No more than 6 points on the licence and only for minor offences
- Willingness to do manual work
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work by yourself
- Good level of spoken and written English
