Kingston Barnes are recruiting Class 2 drivers to work for our client based in Yate (BS37) area. The role will involve deliveries to businesses and completing around 10 drops per shift.
The positions are working Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday and the start times will be between 2-4am. You will be completing around 45 hours per week and the pay rate will be £19.05 per hour.
As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will involve:
- Driving a 26T vehicle transporting client’s goods
- Assisting to offload products
- Using PODs and completing necessary paperwork
- Customer service
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 3 months experience in a Class 2 role is preferred, although new passes will be considered too
- Valid Cat C UK driving licence, up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- No more than 6 points on the licence and only for minor offences
- Willingness to do manual work
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work by yourself
- Good level of spoken and written English
