Contracts Manager – M4 Corridor & Wiltshire
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Excellent Benefits + Bonus
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for your next opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We’re working with a highly respected, long-established main contractor based in Wiltshire, known for delivering beautifully crafted buildings across education, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing business that blends traditional values with modern thinking — delivering award-winning new build and refurbishment projects ranging from £500k to £20m.
About the Role
As Contracts Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the smooth, profitable delivery of multiple live sites, leading teams from pre-construction through to final handover. You’ll be trusted to manage every stage — from early design input and planning through to overseeing site operations, ensuring quality and safety, and driving commercial success.
You’ll be the link between office and site, championing the company’s values, supporting teams to succeed, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Proven experience managing multiple projects as a Contracts Manager (3+ years), or as a Project Manager delivering D&B and traditional schemes (5+ years)
-
Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract stages
-
Experience in frameworks, two-stage tenders, and negotiated contracts
-
Commercially astute with excellent planning and team leadership skills
-
Passionate about high standards, safety, and customer satisfaction
-
Ideally MCIOB qualified or from a trade background with clear progression
What’s On Offer:
You’ll be joining a values-led business where culture, commitment, and craftsmanship are everything. Alongside a competitive salary of £75,000 – £85,000, the package includes:
-
27 days holiday plus bank holidays (35 total)
-
Health Care Cash Plan and Private Medical Insurance
-
Up to 10% annual bonus (discretionary based on company performance)
-
Enhanced maternity, paternity and family leave
-
Generous pension scheme and life assurance
-
Flexible working and wellbeing support
-
Personal development and progression plan
Why This Role?
You’ll be part of a company that has grown significantly over the last decade — with an exciting business plan to be even better tomorrow than today. They invest in people, promote from within, and take real pride in their legacy and future.
