Salary: £11.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
Contract Duration: 24/02/2025 - 31/05/2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Operator to join our client. In this role, you will provide essential support to our client, ensuring all calls and emails are handled professionally and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing work orders, coordinating with internal engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the client, answering calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.

Determine the nature and priority of faults based on information provided by the client.

Raise and assign work orders to relevant resources.

Ensure works are scheduled in accordance with SLAs and update the client’s CAFM system.

Review all subcontractor-submitted paperwork to maintain accurate CAFM records.

Support the management of the supply chain and ensure subcontractor attendance meets required SLAs.

Allocate internal engineers to callouts and maintenance visits, ensuring attendance within agreed SLAs.

Monitor calls from receipt to completion, ensuring accurate and timely updates within the CAFM system.

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the contract scope and ensure all work is delivered accordingly.

Act as a key user and manager of the CAFM system.
Skills and Experience Required:

Previous experience in a helpdesk or customer service environment, ideally within Facilities Management.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in using CAFM systems or similar platforms.

Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Collaborative approach with the ability to engage with internal teams and external suppliers.
