Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Logistics and Stores Coordinator for our client in the Bristol area. This is a key position within the business, ensuring accurate packing, inspection, and dispatch of products in line with quality standards and customer requirements.
The Company: Our client specialises in machining complex machined parts for the aerospace industry. They’re an established business in their field and work with market-leading names to assist them with the manufacturing of parts.
The Role:
You are responsible for ensuring products are accurately checked, prepared, and dispatched on time to meet customer requirements. The role supports strong delivery performance by maintaining high levels of organisation, attention to detail, and compliance with company processes. Working across stores and dispatch, the coordinator ensures items are correctly identified and documented while helping to reduce errors and delays. The role also contributes to continuous improvement and promotes a safe, efficient, and well-organised working environment. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and building strong relationships. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating transport for customer and supplier deliveries
- Packing products safely and in line with requirements
- Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and documented
- Ensuring Inspections for quality, damage, and accuracy before dispatch
- Completing dispatch paperwork and provide shipment documentation
- Supporting on-time, in-full delivery performance
- Reporting and helping to resolve any quality or packaging issues
- Working with internal teams and suppliers to meet delivery targets
- Maintaining accurate records and traceability of goods
- Contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Support goods inwards activities when required
About you:
- Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Great relationship building skills
- IT literate
- Experience in Manufacturing or Aerospace is beneficial
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- FLT experience and licence is desirable
