Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working within the Tiverton area.

The Role:
You will be responsible to carry out routine reactive and planned maintenance the manufacturing plant. You also will be expected to resolve any process issues that may arise and cannot be solved by the operators or need special technical assistance.
You will be required to undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process, in a cost-effective manner whilst meeting strict Health and Safety standards.
Experience/Qualifications
- Electrical or multi-skilled maintenance background within an industrial manufacturing / FMCG – Food Manufacturing environments.
- Ideally a recognised Engineering qualification, ONC, HNC, HND NVQ 3, formally apprentice trained or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret electrical / mechanical drawings
- PLC experience (not essential)
- Experience of electro mechanical maintenance of medium and high speed production plant equipment
- Demonstrable expertise in component and sub-system fault finding and reporting
- Mechanical appreciation of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, valves, pistons, conveyors
