Engineering Maintenance Manager

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Maintenance Manager for one of our manufacturing clients in The North Gloucester the Engineer will be able to ensure the continuous running of a production process through the maintenance of equipment.
The Company: The company are a leading manufacturing business in the food industry. Established in 1938, they are a family run business who have had incredible success in their industry. They manage every step of their products journey from collecting processing and distribution.
The Role: You will lead and develop a team of skilled maintenance engineers to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the company’s equipment. The main responsibilities are:
- Plan and executve preventative maintenance
- Analyse data to improve process and optimise performance
- Lead the engineering team, and structure the department to support key functions
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Support and mentor staff on equipment failure or upgrades
- Manage contractors
Requirements:
- Experience as an Engineering/Maintenance Manager in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- A strong technical proficiency in electrical and mechanical engineering
- Strong leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate a team and build strong relationships
- Ability to identify root cause of failure and implement solutions
- Flexibility
Benefits:
- Up to £65,000
- Holidays 22 days + 8 bank holidays
- Pension Plan – Up to 4% from Employee and 4% from Employer
