Shift Pattern: Orange Shift (4 days on, 4 days off)
Team Size: Approx. 35+ employees
Budget Responsibility: Yes
Purpose of the Role
As Manufacturing Production Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering production output at optimum efficiency while keeping people at the heart of everything. You’ll be a key driver of operational performance and continuous improvement, working to provide the best product, service, and cost in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all production and hygiene plans are delivered to standard.
- Provide effective shift handovers and escalate issues where necessary.
- Maintain adherence to financial budgets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with other shifts and stakeholders to drive collective success.
- Lead investigations into safety, quality, and mechanical breakdowns; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date training compliance and SOP documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in a similar role within the FMCG sector.
- Proven track record in Lean and root cause analysis within complex manufacturing.
- HACCP Level 2 (Desirable)
- Food Safety Level 3 (Desirable)
- COSHH qualification (Desirable)
