Project Manager (Industrial) – Up to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: Worcester
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., early Friday finish at 1:00 p.m.
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in industrial or heavy engineering environments? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering solutions provider for a Project Manager (Industrial) to take ownership of complex engineering projects from sales handover through to delivery.
Working closely with internal teams and external clients, you'll ensure every project meets customer specifications, budget targets, and delivery milestones—while maintaining full compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle from sales handover through to product delivery.
- Create, manage, and execute project plans to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.
- Liaise regularly with clients and suppliers, both in the UK and internationally.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate with design, production, procurement, and aftersales functions.
- Ensure all customer standards and regulatory specifications (national and international) are met.
- Oversee production of quality documentation, procedures, and compliance packs.
- Support SDRL delivery, technical assignments, and BOM development.
- Monitor and report on project status, costs, and progress to the senior management team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification and strong technical understanding.
- Proven experience managing engineering projects valued between £30k and £5m.
- Experience with diesel or motor-driven equipment (30kW–2000kW), heavy manufacturing, and industrial applications.
- Desirable: familiarity with hazardous area working, offshore standards, and demanding documentation regimes.
- Desirable: knowledge of hydraulics, electro-mechanical systems, and pumping/“package-build” equipment.
- Working knowledge of engineering software, including project planning tools and 3D CAD (Solid Edge or SolidWorks) is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client and supplier relationships effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and internationally as required.
