Kingston Barnes is recruiting an Estimator / Senior Estimator for a leading Top 20 Regional Contractor in Bristol, with a salary of £65,000–£90,000 depending on experience.
The opportunity
You’ll bring your construction knowledge, commercial judgement and attention to detail to the tender process, helping turn project information into accurate, considered and competitive submissions.
Typical responsibilities will include:

Preparing estimates and reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents.

Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Identifying risks, opportunities and gaps in tender information.

Working closely with pre-construction and delivery colleagues to challenge assumptions and develop pricing.

Supporting tender reviews and providing a clear handover of successful bids.
About you
You’ll have experience in construction estimating and a practical understanding of how projects are priced and delivered. You’ll be comfortable interrogating the detail, asking the right questions and explaining the thinking behind your figures.
