We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Goods In Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company.
Location:BS1, Bristol
Working Hours:
Depending on business requirements, the available shift patterns are:
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30.
- Rotating shifts: 06:00–13:45 and 13:15–21:00.
Pay Rate:
£14.40 per hour including holiday pay
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good attention to detail who enjoys working in a busy warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Ensure goods are correctly labelled and stored in the appropriate locations.
- Update stock records and maintain accurate inventory information.
- Organise deliveries and collections
- Move materials and products safely around the warehouse and production area.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Follow all company procedures and health and safety requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in goods in, goods out, warehouse or stock control would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to check paperwork, computer and maintain accurate records.
- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
