Due to a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, a well-established and highly respected regional contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor.
You'll take ownership of your own projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely alongside an experienced Senior Commercial team who are passionate about developing people and creating long-term careers.
Projects range from £500k to £10m across a diverse portfolio of new build and refurbishment schemes, giving you plenty of variety and exposure across multiple sectors.
Whether you're already an established Quantity Surveyor or an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step, you'll be given the support, responsibility and trust to continue progressing your career.
The Role
- Manage projects from inception through to final account.
- Full commercial responsibility for single or multiple projects.
- Procurement and subcontractor management.
- Valuations, variations and cost reporting.
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and the Senior Commercial team.
- Build strong relationships with clients and the wider project team.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within construction.
- Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and project costs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to develop your career.
